I object because there is no Andrew Bird, the king of whistling. But still pretty cool.
The History of Whistling.
This is 98 years in the span of 25 songs, with whistling, contrabass and piano. Hope you like it!

The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan
This is something I try to remind myself of every day. Tragically, Keegan died in a car crash a few days after writing this. She was only 22.

Summer!
There are so many things I love about summer. It will probably be difficult to name 3.
1 - Doing things outdoors. Spring is too unpredictable. Fall is wonderful, but you know the cold is coming. Summer is just the best time to be outside and enjoying it. I especially love early summer or late summer, June and September. They are the best months for being outside and just soaking up the sun.
2 - Fruits! I desperately miss fresh fruit during the winter, even though you can get citrus fruit in the winter, oranges have never been my favorite. I prefer blueberries and strawberries and raspberries. Yum.
3 - Swimming outside. I don’t mind swimming in indoor pools, but to me, there is nothing better than swimming under the sun, whether I’m in an ocean or a lake or a pool.
4 - Heat. I know a lot of people don’t like to be hot, but I honestly do not mind it. I would walk for 7 miles every day when I lived in Raleigh. In July and August. And I loved it. I don’t even mind humidity in moderate quantities. Oppressive humidity, though, gets anyone down.
5 - The beach. Being at the beach with my family. Being at the beach on a chilly afternoon and burying your feet in the still-warm sand.
6 - The birthdays of people I love. Michael and my mom and my dad and my sister.
Summer is too short, that is my only complaint. Oh, and teenagers at the mall at 12PM. I know, I’m such an old lady.
